Dr. Deverka oversees the development of health economic studies, RWE (Real World Evidence) studies and patient-centered outcomes research to support value propositions for advanced diagnostics, medical device, and biopharmaceutical innovators in precision medicine. Dr. Deverka was most recently the Deputy Director and Senior Researcher at the Center for Translational and Policy Research on Precision Medicine, UCSF. Her background also includes leadership roles in HEOR with Medco Health, Janssen, and Abbott. Dr. Deverka is widely published on diverse topics such as precision medicine, payer coverage decision-making, and patient engagement in research. Dr. Deverka earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, a Master of Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Preventive Medicine from the University Maryland. She has also completed a policy fellowship at Duke University in Genome Sciences and Policy.
